Overview

Finite element analysis (FEA) is a tool used for numerical approximation of complex physical structures in the field of structural engineering. It is used for simulating physical phenomena in order to reduce dependency on the physical prototypes. This method allows optimization of the components as a part of the design process of the project. The simulations used in FEA are carried out by creating a mesh of a finite number of smaller elements.
