After she and her elementary aged son lived through the ordeal of an ill prepared school staff, Lia Martin (aka Comedian Lia P) became a special needs advocate. Finding Einstein is Lia Martin's powerfully moving journey to uncovering the hidden genius in her child. Honest, humorous and heart-rending, her debut memoir is testimony to a mother's love for her son and the lengths she'll travel to help him shine. Lia is a wife, mother and writer who has worked as an administrative professional, sitcom writer and television executive with deals at ABC and HBO Independent Productions. She is also co-host of the new parenting podcast, Grab a Bottle. She has volunteered in leadership roles with child-centered organizations since high school and most recently developed an advocacy toolkit for parents who have children with learning differences. She is the daughter of award winning author, J Everett Prewitt and resides in California.
