Overview

It is easy to tell the story when you are the hero. Everyone is comfortable playing their highlight reel. But what is the value in just seeing the good parts? What do we learn when people only share the successes they have had? In order to fully understand, and derive value, from stories of achievement, it is important we know the whole story. To know greatness, we must come to know failures first. If we are to become the best version of ourselves, we must know that failure, accept it, and leave it behind. I never dreamed I would help change the world, I never thought I was capable of having that type of impact. I was wrong. I led a movement that started with a handful of people and grew to inspire millions around the country and the world. I came into that power by forgiving myself and accepting my failures, learning that I was more than my mistake, and promising myself a better day and tomorrow. I am no different from you, and I changed the world. You can too. The aim of this book is to empower the individual to understand the capacity they have to positively impact the world around them.
