Author Information

Christopher Harker is Associate Professor at the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity. His research examines financial systems and practices that enable people to flourish within planetary limits. He is the author of Spacing Debt (2020, Duke University Press). Dr Amy Horton is a lecturer in Economic Geography at UCL. Her research examines social infrastructures of housing and care, with particular interests in their financing. She co-edited Financing Prosperity by Dealing with Debt with Christopher Harker (UCL Press, 2022). Her research has also been published in Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers, Environment and Planning A: Economy and Space and Area. Before her PhD, she worked as a policy researcher and campaigner on international finance and other issues.
