Specializing in trade finance and Forex dealings, Dr Sanati’s key area of teaching and research is interbank cover operations through Forex swap. Other areas of her research interest include financial integration at the domestic and international fronts, examination of India as a bank-or market-based economy, impact of universal banking and stochastic and technical analysis for forecasting. She plays a lead role in coordinating and teaching a number of executive programs in the area of financing international trade, Forex dealing and bourse game. Dr Sanati has published a number of research papers related to packing credit or pre-shipment credit. She played a key role in a consultancy project “Impact Assessment Study of Interest Subvention Scheme” undertaken by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. She has also closely worked on the preparation of the treasury manual of a bank (the name of which cannot be disclosed).
