Danica King wrote a memoir focusing on her journey with Multiple Sclerosis. She discusses the role that snapshots began to play in her Multiple Sclerosis journey. Danica's goal was to share several anecdotes about how she has managed her MS, so that other MSers don't have to learn so many things the hard way. Fully realizing everyone will have a different experience, Danica has addressed the masses with both the good and the bad things she has encountered. Danica King spent her childhood in Poughkeepsie, New York and has now made Richmond, Virginia her home. Danica was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at the age of 34. Danica is an active member in the MS community. Several years after her MS diagnosis and inspired by a book written by another MSer, Danica decided that it was imperative that she share her journey with others. She not only wanted to share her struggles with the disease, but her daily triumphs as well. Danica approaches living this new chapter of her life with resolve. She has made a conscious decision to use her story to encourage others not to allow their diagnosis to define them. Instead, she finds ways, no matter how small, to inspire others. Danica will show you that when you have a spirit that refuses to give up, anything is possible.
