Welcome to the world of Christian Martial Artists. In this fiction book, we will join Chris as he learns about God and the martial arts. Along the way we will learn the many ways that God uses the martial arts to help people. Chris will learn to follow God as he learns the martial arts. This book will follow the first year of his journey of martial art training and biblical direction. Chris will learn that the bible is full of martial and life guidance. He will learn that the bible is full of guiding advice. Chris and his family live in a small town that is known as a farming community with excellent small factories. His dad, Peter, works with metal in one of the machine shops and his mom, Diane, is a elementary teacher. His dad is big and powerful. He played football and wrestled in high school and can still throw a powerful punch. His mom is a bit smaller than normal and played soccer and volleyball in high school and still has a great serve. The town is known as a place where the people are self-sufficient and problem solvers. He has a sister named Sue. They both take after their mom in the size department. Sue also plays soccer and volleyball for school. Chris has a mix of friends with his best friend Dan. They live close to each other and often hang out at least part of most days. They are in the same grade and have been friends most of their life. They enjoy playing basketball together and often take on other kids in the neighborhood. They are wrapping up the end of the eighth-grade school year at the middle school. Next year they will both be freshmen at the high school.
