Table of ContentsReviews""Figgy Goes to the Farm is the cutest little story about a puppy named Figgy who goes to live on a rescue farm. It's not just any farm - it's full of animals who all came there scared or unsure, but found love and friendship along the way. Figgy meets new friends, learns a few silly (and sometimes naughty) things, and discovers what it means to belong. The illustrations are absolutely adorable! Every page is bright and full of personality - it makes you want to go visit the farm yourself. I love the gentle message about kindness, second chances, and finding family in unexpected places. My grandkids loved it, and I did too. Such a fun and heartwarming read for any little animal lover!"" - Jinna B Author InformationJen Kerr grew up in Northwest Indiana and has always had a passion for helping animals in need. She moved to her parents' farm ""temporarily"" in 2015 when she started a vintage home decor store with her mom, Vicki. After several years of taking in horses in need of a safe home, Jen and her parents were encouraged to establish a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization for their farm. Elsa's Acres was officially formed in 2022 and is now home to nearly 30 animals, including horses, goats, and two ungrateful 19 year old geese. Jen wrote Figgy Goes to the Farm as a way to share laughter, kindness, and the magic of everyday adventures at Elsa's Acres. When she isn't writing, Jen enjoys running the business she created with her mom - which is now located on the farm - caring for the animals, and finding new ways to bring the farm's stories to life. It's also worth nothing that Jen still lives on the farm ""temporarily"" and spends her mornings taking selfies with the animals while doing chores. Figgy Goes to the Farm is her first children's book, but she plans to continue writing more stories inspired by the animals at Elsa's Acres.
