Overview

I have written four books containing my poetry, 'twisted spiritual poetry' 1 & 2, 'memoirs and poems of a misguided junkie' and healing rhymes. This will be my fifth poetry book. My books are available on 'amazon, have many poems both in my files here at home 'Sedro Woolley' Washington and here on allpoetry.com. As I navigate the many different poets on this site, I have never read a poem I didn't like, they are all very gifted and skillful poets in your own rite. Please read my poetry and then tell me honestly what you feel when you read my poems. This is my fifth book, a sequel to my first, second, third and fourth book. Although this has different title which I loved. And this is an extraordinary poetry book because I have included my own and my friends' illustrations, drawings and images too. I've been an addict for many years and this has been the darkest years of my life. This book is about healing broken hearts, encouraging those whom feel hopeless and giving to the needy.

I am 60 years old. I grew up in a very religious home. My father was a minister who took his own life in 1982. I'm the youngest of three surviving brothers. My sister died in 2009. I never graduated high school. I also made a modest salary as metal fabricator in HVAC air and heating. I am currently retired. I live with my older brother Robert and his wife Denise Bateman, whom I love dearly. I have three dogs: Ruger, Roppertone and Forest, they are my bestfriends. Life is good and I'm happy to be alive. God bless you all need to understand your value, you are gifted, blessed, you are worthy to be loved, and respected. The path we're traveling can be hard, lonely, tiresome, . Well, you get what I'm saying, but we have A God, A savior, The Holy Spirit, whom watches over us, protects us, gently pushing us toward the edge where we can jump up and fly or basically fall to our death, so let's be careful out there.
