Maxie inherited their passion for people and their commitment to elevate those in under-resourced communities. She graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and is a longtime public servant in the public sector. Maxie holds a License in Clinical Social Work with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Recently, she partnered with her relatives in the Philippines to bring disaster relief to the hundreds of families affected by the January 2020 Taal Volcano eruption.
