Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Nicholas Nalli received his B.S and M.S. degrees in Education from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was awarded a four-year Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA), Colorado State University, which he completed onsite at NOAA/NESDIS/STAR as a Visiting Scientist. Dr. Nalli is currently a Senior Research Scientist (onsite contractor) at STAR, where he performs applied and basic research. His primary research specialty is in environmental satellite remote sensing, radiative transfer and validation, with a focus on oceanic and atmospheric applications. Other research interests include atmospheric aerosols, air-sea interactions, boundary layer and marine meteorology, oceanographic intensive field campaigns, forensic science, and global climate change applications.
