Author Information

Samantha Montgomerie is an author who loves writing for young people. She has written a number of educational readers, middle grade fiction and poetry. She has numerous poems published for adults, found in various anthologies and literary journals. She has worked for over 25 years as an English teacher, and loves seeing young people engrossed in great stories. She lives in New Zealand, where she likes to wander, letting the salt-laced air inspire great plotlines and poetry. Felishia Henditirto grew up in a small motorcycle shop located in Sumedang, Indonesia. Although looking at her father running his dream shop was fun, she dreamed of something different. Illustrating stories is her biggest passion, she always has a thirst for magic so she tries to create it in her illustrations. When Felishia is not working, she can be found behind a book (almost always) or behind a cashier, helping her family run the motorcycle shop. Komal Pahwa is a talented visual communicator & illustrator with 6+ years of experience working with clients from all over the world. With a passion for creating unique and engaging visual content and a keen eye for detail, her art is inspired by her culture in combination with abstraction and poetry. Whether it's developing characters for a children's book, creating vibrant visuals for an ad campaign or bringing an editorial piece to life, Komal is dedicated to delivering exceptional work. Emily Paik is an illustrator based in South Korea. Being an artist was her dream job ever since she was a kid. With her mother’s encouragement and support, she was able to pursue her passion in art by taking drawing classes in art academies and schools. After graduating with a BFA in illustration, she worked on various animation projects. She gets inspired by the colours and shapes of nature, her dogs, fashion, and cute desserts.
