He received his Ph.D. in electronics and communication engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, a master's degree from Alta Scuola Politecnica, Politecnico di Milano, and a master's degree in telecommunication engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Guido Perrone is a professor of microwaves and photonic devices in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications at Politecnico di Torino.
