Overview

High school senior Paige Booker wakes from a coma to find she now has the ability to read people's emotions through touch. Playing a gypsy fortune teller at her 6th grade sister's Halloween school carnival, she ""reads"" David DiGrazie's palm and tells him the song he's just written will become a million seller. When Paige literally runs into a loner classmate in the cafeteria, she senses Marlene's terror. Marlene jerks away and hurries out. Marlene is terrified, but Paige can't tell why. Paige's relationship with David and she convinces him to help her track Marlene and the overweight, undergroomed man who picks her up from school every day, the man Paige dubs The Perv. In the days before Thanksgiving Marlene is absent from school, and Paige makes up her mind to forget Marlene and her problems and live like a normal teen. Except-Paige wakes on Thanksgiving and knows something is terribly wrong with Marlene. Now it's up to Paige and David to find her before it's too late.
