"PREFACE Prayer is one of the potent weapons at the disposal of a Christian.(Matt.26:41;Col.4:2;2Chro.7: !4;1John.5:14-16;;Matt.26:41Prov.17:6;15:8;Psa.4:1;Col.4:2;1Tim.2:1-2) ""And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint..."" .(Lk. 18:1-25). When Jesus Christ made this declaration in the Book of Matt.17:20-21 thus ""However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting"". He was actually referring to fervent or prevailing prayers of the types in this book. ""And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force"" (Matt.12:29). Binding strongman of oppression, one must use all the disposal in one's arsenal. Matthew asked a puzzling question, ""How can anyone enter a strongman 's house?"". He explained further,"" Except you bind the strongman before plundering his house"". Strongmen are assigned to hamlets, villages and cities to carry out demonic assignments. Altars are erected in villages and cities and festivals involving evil priests, masquerades and blood sacrifices are carried out periodically. Altars are erected in residences, companies and offices that cage destinies of people, hence the need for fervent prayers as contained in this book. There are scorpion houses where married women hardly get pregnant, job seekers hardly get jobs, contractors hardly get contracts. There are companies where workers earn salaries that are swallowed pirates of wasteful spending and sickness infirmity. There are scorpion houses where occupants die yearly. There are road junctions where mysterious accidents occur on a regular basis. There are sicknesses that defiles medical diagnosis and treatment. There are families whose members hardly attains fifty years! There are spinsters that keeps experiencing promise and fail. There are pregnant women that have suffered from repeated miscarriages. All these reproaches call for fervent prayers. The more you pray, the more you discover and the more you recover all your treasures. For a prey to be set free from the iron grip of the mighty and the terrible; not usually a process of tea party. One would need Elijah type of prayer that is effectual. This is forty chapters book that is highly loaded with fervent prayers, written through divine inspiration for upward of twelve year.
