About the Authors Chris is a graduate of North Carolina State University with degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is the principal owner of Civil Design Concepts, the leading private development engineering firm in Western North Carolina. He is a local and knows these Blue Ridge Mountains well. He sets the bar high and his standards for excellence are unrivaled. Jenny's background has always been in helping others. She graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences with a degree in Occupational therapy. For years, Jenny helped individuals adapt to their new life after traumatic accidents and disabling diagnosis via rehab techniques, adaptive equipment and home modifications. It is this drive to help others that Jenny starts and ends her days with.
