Overview

February Fourteen is a story about Valentine's Day-a celebration close to the protagonist's heart! It is the debut of the Celebrate the HoliDates(TM) book series-stories told from a child's point of view. Each title in the collection is colorfully illustrated. Readers engage with playful text and vibrant pictures. A fun and simple word-search-question sets the book in motion. The quest to find the message within the story starts with the direction: Keep reading to find out! A descriptive style and bright illustrations paint a picture of the season with a focus on the rituals of Valentine's Day. As the book ends, a ribbon-scrolled message rewards the word-seeking reader. Each Celebrate the HoliDates(TM) book explores holidays throughout the year, orienting young readers to the calendar in general, the seasons, and holidays with specific dates.
