Author InformationA highly respected professional photographer and freelance author, David Wyman brings a vivid passion to his photography and inspires an unmatched level of enthusiasm with readers. Mr. Wyman's photographs and articles have appeared in a variety of national publications, including Backpacker, Outdoor Photographer, Cross-Country Ski, Outside and many others. He has authored three distinguished pictorial guidebooks -- BACKROADS OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, BACKROADS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, and YOSEMITE IN PHOTOGRAPHS. Mr. Wyman founded Image Quest – a natural history and photography tour company in California in 1982. He has served as the Adventure Travel coordinator at the University of Southern California, where he created the University's Adventure Photography program. He has conducted photography programs and workshops for natural history associations in Yosemite and Death Valley, for UCLA, as well as for the San Diego, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles Natural History Museums.
