Fearless

Overview

In this town, basketball is life. And death. The Rock Bay Rebels are ready to host, and poised to win, the B.C. provincial high-school basketball championship. Newly promoted to the starting lineup, Ty Roper has the chance to prove himself to his coach, make his town proud, and live up to the reputation of his father, recently-deceased local hero Hank Roper, who led the team to victory thirty years earlier. Shortly before the tournament is to begin, however, strange things begin to happen. As Ty investigates, he soon finds himself at the center of not just a current cover-up, but another one decades old. An odd little girl may provide the key to unraveling the mystery, but doing so may cost the Rebels the tournament and force Ty to question his very identity. Perfect for fans of Natasha Preston and Gretchen McNeil, Fearless is a gripping psychological thriller full of ghastly goings-on that will leave you wanting to put things right. Or else. Fearless is Book 1 in the Rock Bay Mystery series.

Author Information

ROGER WOLFE spent his early years surviving in the shadows of Rock Bay, a windswept, weather-beaten whistle stop in the northwestern corner of British Columbia. He then managed to escape to Vancouver Island, where he taught Creative Writing to young adults for over thirty years. He currently haunts the streets of Saanich, spending the majority of his waking hours conjuring up spooky stories inspired by the cast of characters he's had the pleasure-and displeasure-of having met, his current obsession with true crime and his own adolescent misadventures all those years ago.
