Being a mother of three children Hilary Lawrence understands what an important part strong core values and beliefs have in our children's development. In todays world having a strong north is essential! Lessons which children learn from loved ones and from their education enrich, teach and give direction not only in the early years of development, but all through life. Lawrence's books are based on famous proverbs which have been part of British culture for hundreds of years. Too many times in history lessons similar to these have been lost and not successfully passed through the generations. Her books remind us of these sayings and bring them to life in beautifully illustrated rhyming stories which appeal to young children. In doing so she hopes to protect them for generations to come.
