Overview

When Fawn's mother received a promotion and began to work long hours out of town, Fawn and her Dad, Mr. Buck were saddened. But they didn't share their feelings with each other. Instead, Fawn and Mr. Buck kept themselves busy in different directions. When Fawn went off to spend the night with her friend without first asking permission, Mr. Buck became terribly worried. Would he find his precious child before danger grabs her? In the end, Mr. Buck is relieved that his daughter is safe at her friend's house. They finally began to open up to each other about their feelings over her mother's recent absence, and the two of them begin working on a close bond. This storyline brings an example of how important it is for parents and children to remain in communication with each other. They can face good and bad situations together.
