'Faux Past 2' is a follow-up on 'Faux Past, ' and continues to discuss events that are popularly accepted as historical fact, but are regarded as of doubtful authenticity by some historians. This revised edition adds 15 items to the original 35, and is aptly subtitled 'Another 50 World-Famous Events That Most Likely Never Happened'. As stated in the preface, the events are enumerated in the table of contents in no specific order, their settings ranging from the Greco-Roman period to the modern age. Each chapter presents an event described in most history books and discusses why the author deems it worthy for students and enthusiasts to give it a second look. The accompanying artwork is a series of excellent compositions by Dennis Raymond Ferry
