SCHNOOR is Professor and Co-Director of the Center for Global and Regional Environmental Research at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the University of Iowa. He has consulted for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the EPA and has directed a number of water quality modeling and toxic substance research projects. Dr. Schnoor is an authority on surface water and groundwater quality modeling and physical-chemical treatment of toxic chemicals and has written extensively on these subjects.
