Bodh is an Indian Economic Service officer of the 1987 batch and is currently senior adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers’ Welfare, government of India. He was formerly director of the Planning Commission. With thirty years of experience in six ministries of the government of India, he has significantly contributed to policy making, research management and monitoring and has initiated the India Agricultural Outlook Forum. He has several academic and literary books to his credit and has been editing and managing the Ministry’s flagship publication – the monthly journal Agricultural Situation in India – and reports such as Agricultural Statistics at a Glance, State of Indian Agriculture and Glimpses of Indian Agriculture (2018).
