He lives in a North Somerset village where he reads poetry at a local open mic night and swims in the Marine Lake at Clevedon. Gary has wanted to be a writer since reading the Lord of the Rings as a young boy. Being partially sighed made childhood more challenging for Gary so books were important to him as they allowed him to escape into his own private universe. At the beginning of the 90s, he moved to Hemel Hempstead where he was asked to write a play for the Boxmoor Arts Centre for Young People. The play contained ideas that he used later in his debut fantasy novella Where the Mind Wanders. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
