OverviewThis is a collection of little short stories, some of which I had written several years ago, some the day-before yesterday and, some the day before tomorrow. In 1946, she relocated with her parents to India, where she spent her formative years. She completed her education at Loreto Convent, Darjeeling. Following high school, her parents sent her to UC Berkeley in the USA for further studies. It was there that she encountered Bevan Waide, a charming distraction who would become her husband. After tying the knot, Bevan joined the IRRD, and they established their home in Washington DC, raising a daughter and a curly-headed boy.In 1969, they were posted to Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, on behalf of the Bank. However, in 1973, Bevan decided it was time to return to England. It was in Newcastle-upon-Tyne that Pu-Chin resumed her higher education. Unfortunately, in 1976, Bevan Waide was summoned back to the World Bank headquarters, prompting another relocation.Once their children embarked on their own journeys, Pu-Chin and Bevan found themselves 171 Fantasies, Imagining and Memories with an empty nest. Pu-Chin transitioned from full-time motherhood and homemaking to exploring various endeavors, such as 'design and build additions to houses, acupuncture, and pottery. Yet, she remained connected to her artistic pursuits, always keeping pencil and paper close. Maintaining a diary throughout her life, she penned short stories for her own enjoyment. Eventually, she published her father's memoirs after years of contemplation.During a period of confinement at home following major surgeries, Pu-Chin, feeling both bored and irritable, decided to compile her short stories into small books. The first one titled ""Fantasies, Imaginings, and Memories,"" followed by ""Fantasies from Memories."" These stories aim to bring laughter to readers' faces and, hopefully, music to their souls.
