Beth Farrar been a voracious reader from the moment her parents gave her the best gift ever-a library card! And when she was a teenager, her grandfather handed her a gold signet ring that belonged to his grandmother, thus sparking her passion for family history. For close to fifteen years she wrote a column called Living Country in an English language newspaper north of Montreal, called Main Street, where she shared everyday stories about raising her three sons with her hubby in a log cabin on a lake.
