This book covers the lineage of Solomon H. Lewis, born about 1812 on Shackleford Banks, Carteret County, North Carolina and his wife, Elizabeth (Eliza) J. Fulford, born between 1825 and 1827, and their children, Fulford, James, Maggie, James, Sabra, and Sarah Jane. This Lewis lineage of one of several in the Carteret County, North Carolina area (near Morehead City). The Lewises have inter-married with many of the more prominent names in the area, as well.
