Author Information

Caitlin Roeder is both an author and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Specializing in behavioral health, she is committed to helping people feel seen, heard, and valued. Also a mom, Caitlin cherishes time reading with her two daughters and celebrating Chinese New Year with family. In all her roles, Caitlin is given the opportunity to talk, teach, and learn each day. She hopes Family Kisses will help kids and adults start meaningful conversations about honoring how they and others feel when it comes to physical touch. Kristen is a Canadian Chinese illustrator. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and now works to bring colourful stories and characters to life. She often draws inspiration from her culturally blended surroundings, and fills the worlds of her pieces with light, texture, and cozy whimsy. When not illustrating, Kristen enjoys eating pastries, settling down with a good book, and spending time with loved ones! Karin Fisher-Golton is a freelance children's book editor and the author of the middle-grade time-travel novel, The Clock and the Boulder; the award-winning board book My Amazing Day: A Celebration of Wonder and Gratitude; and poems in several anthologies. With an extensive background in writing, editing, and education she does everything from developmental editing to copyediting and works on books for babies through teens.
