Table of ContentsReviewsYOUTH SERVICES BOOK REVIEW: It is not so much a reading book but just a great little book for some laughs. I did a silly stories theme one time for a preschool story hour and this book would have been perfect. It is good for kids to see all different kinds of books. The illustrations are bright and colorful and that is always a plus. Children between the ages of three and five would enjoy the humour and beginner readers would be able to decode the reading by looking at the pictures. Who should buy this? Public libraries, preschools, daycare centres, anyone that works with children between the ages of three and five. The pages are sturdy so it will tolerate a great deal of handling. YOUTH SERVICES BOOK REVIEW: This is a 'flip flap' book that uses various family members and a variety of activities to create many hysterical possibilities. The family members include a mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, cousin, grandma, grandpa, baby and a variety of friends. The activities include homework, powdering the baby, licking a lollipop, mending a car, being greedy, growing a beard, plus many more. You can see where this can get really silly if the baby is mending a tire and the sister is growing a beard. The best is grandma drinking from a baby bottle.
