Overview

When a trove of historical artifacts emerged from the basement of a house in British Columbia in 2004, journalist John Fuller was intrigued. He realized he had come into possession of the surviving effects of a once-famous personality, and it turned out Con Jones was not the man's real name. So began a hunt for the truth. This is the story of an Australian adventurer who did wrong, fled to Vancouver, and tried to become a better man. For a while he succeeded. Con Jones became one of the flashiest sports promoters Canada had ever known. Then the past came looking for him.
