False Flag

Overview

It is 1964, the Iron Curtain still divides Europe and the world remains on the brink of nuclear war. With the U.S. increasingly mired in Vietnam, the Soviet Union sees an opportunity to win the Cold War in Europe. Newly-minted MI6 agent, Dominic 'Nic' Slater is sent to Moscow to help rebuild the UK's intelligence network after it was decimated by the defections of Philby, Blake, and others. As he tries to 'turn' a KGB agent, he finds himself drawn into a traitorous pact to try and prevent war. Can he avoid discovery and pull the world back from the brink? Set against the backdrop of the Swinging Sixties and moving from Moscow to London, Helsinki and Baku, False Flag blends real world events such as the Cuban missile crisis, assassination of JFK, and the Profumo Affair with a tale of intrigue, duplicity, bravery and love. A conflict between superpowers is seen through the eyes of two people forced to question their beliefs, loyalties, and actions.
