Falls Falls Ende - Sextus: Sextus

Overview

A vengeful band of Irish clansmen slaughtered everyone in Macha’s small coastal village and encouraged by the bombastic rantings of a delusional Catholic priest, they’ve now come for her. In fear for the life of her unborn child, she flees with nothing but the clothes she wears. Driven by fanciful tales of sorcery and witchcraft, the Irishmen are relentless in their pursuit; it isn’t her they want to kill - it’s her child. However, the clansmen are not the only ones seeking her child’s life. Viking priests have foretold the future and sent men to find her and the boy. The stakes are high, and a depraved Irish druid, at the bidding of Nels One-Ear, a Viking warrior, leaves no stone unturned as bodies begin to pile up. Determined to keep her son alive, their escape takes them to Frankia, where she teaches him about the beauty of nature and the art of healing; it is here that the boy learns about divination and the extreme lengths of cruelty and violence sadistic men enjoy. Staying alive is a challenge; it seems everyone wants him dead.  Falls Ende – Sextus is a story of adversity and the joy of finding love. It is the sixth novel in the Falls Ende series and chronicles the life and hardships of Cathal Ó Brollacháin, a most extraordinary and enigmatic man.
