Drawing on his uniquely varied interests and expertise, scientist and engineer Joseph Callender shows in a clear and easily understandable way that when science and Christian faith are well understood, not only do perceived conflicts disappear, but we find a synergy between them that supports and enriches both. The author has enjoyed a long career working to ensure reliable design of government and military satellites, missile defense systems, and other complex systems. In addition to a love of the physical sciences, he's passionate about the less tangible mysteries of the spirit. He's an elder in his church, as well as a long-time yogi, and has had a number of profound spiritual experiences. He's the father, grandfather, or great grandfather of 17, and lives in San Tan Valley, Arizona with his son, Chris.
