Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJonathan Peale has more than 15 years' experience as an educator. He has written many children's books, including poetry, science fiction, and biographies. He currently lives in Minnesota. Susan Sandvig Walker has worked as a classroom teacher, nutritional therapist, personal trainer, and now is an author of children's books. She lives in the Wisconsin countryside with her husband, son, their sweet Lab, Honey, and a whole host of amazing woodland creatures. When she's not writing, she's busy hiking, biking, baking cupcakes or wetting a line to catch some fish. Lucy Fleming lives and works in a small town in England with an animator and a black cat. She has been an avid doodler and bookworm since early childhood, drawing every day, bringing characters and stories to life. She never dreamed that illustrating would be her job! When not at her desk, Lucy loves to be outdoors in the sunshine with a cup of hot tea -- doodling, of course. Villie was born in Athens and studied illustration at Ornerakis School of Applied Art. She has worked as a children's book illustrator since 2008 and loves creating playful characters and interesting compositions. Her fresh and whimsical style emhasizes color, and she works digitally as well as traditionally. Villie gets considerable inspiration from her cat as well as her life experiences and dreams. Her favorite children's story is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Her lifetime ambition is to own a horse--but she's happy to settle for cat--for the time being! Maxime Lebrun has loved to draw and color since she was a kid, watching clouds through the windows at school and drawing dinosaurs in her schoolbooks. She studied youth illustration and animation and received a degree from an art school in France, in a small place called Epinal, where she was actually allowed to draw dinosaurs everywhere. She has been working as a freelance illustrator for the past couple of years while living in London. She loves telling stories in images and playing with light and colors.
