Overview"Arguing is one of the crucial cultural techniques for participating in public discourse. The present study examines whether and how high school students argue in writing on the subject of ""Creation and Evolution"". In cooperation with the Didactics of Biology (IPN Kiel and University of Potsdam) the argumentation potential of 16-18 year olds was empirically ascertained and qualitatively evaluated.
