Fabio Salini: Rebel Jeweller

Overview

After more than 25 years as a groundbreaking figure in the jewellery world, Italian designer Fabio Salini showcases his bold, expressive work in this luxe debut monograph. Illustrated with 150 images of Salini' vibrant pieces against a striking black and white design, Fabio Salini: Rebel Jeweller shines a light on the iconoclastic designer' distinctive style and thought-provoking philosophy. Salini worked for brands such as Cartier and Bulgari before launching his own independent collection, and while he long ago mastered using precious gems and metals, he now also works with leather, shagreen, titanium, and carbon fiber. This insightful book highlights the unique materiality of his work, while contextualising it within the history of modernism in jewellery. Featuring original photography and a luxurious die-cut cover, Fabio Salini: Rebel Jeweller is a testament to the designer' dynamic expression of twenty-first century modernism in jewels.
