Author Information

Margaret McAllister is the author of over forty books for children, including Women of the Bible, Children of the Bible, Stories of the Saints, and The Mistmantle Chronicles. She is also the author of The Good Thing About Bad Days, which helps young readers through tough times. Margaret lives in the north of England with her husband, a retired Methodist minister. She loves the theatre, wildlife, walks in the countryside, spending time with her grown-up children, and sharing books with her small grandchildren. She is often found at beautiful Hexham Abbey surrounded by children, creating crafts, and telling stories. Summer Macon is an award-winning illustrator. She is most recognized for the bestselling Kindness series (ABCs of Kindness). She lives on a tiny farm in a tiny town (population 32!) with her husband, 3 dogs, 14 chickens, and 4 ducks. Summer spends her time illustrating, skateboarding, and eating chocolate.
