Overview

The advantages of stabilizing a fracture without exposing the site or burying foreign material in it have long been recognized. The interest in external skeletal fixation has recently been revived and the results achieved now are better than ever before. The techniques are tenable by general veterinary practitioners and equipment costs are low. This title offers a practical and radiograph intensive book on the practice of external fixation. Written to appeal to European and US audiences alike, it contains hundreds of high quality radiographs. This is a valuable learning tool for the practising veterinarian.
