Overview

Yorubas in Diaspora that feel they don't need Yorubaland for anything should remember the nation of Israel; after 2,000 years in Diaspora, they had to reclaim their homeland. After the pogrom that killed 6 million Jews in Europe, they realized in bitter experience the importance of the fatherland. Yorubas, approximating the old Western Region under Obafemi Awolowo, fought for Nigeria's Independence and pegged it to 1956. By contrast, Ahmadu Bello changed the words in 1956 to as soon as practicable. Consequently, bloody riots ensued between the North and South. Azikiwe and Igbos' alliance with Awolowo broke down over the ownership of Lagos. Consequently, Igbos allied with the Fulani North to wrest Lagos from the Yoruba. They created a Federal Capital Territory on a lie. Both Igbos and Fulanis eventually fought and dragged the rest of us into Civil War, whence the country began to operate Unitary Constitution, with Fulani entrenched in key posts, while Yorubas are relegated and our best brains are either murdered or driven into exile. The only solution is the Independence of the Yoruba nation. Since oppressed people cannot remain oppressed forever, it's a categorical imperative that Yoruba exited Nigeria: and that's what this book explains with factual clarity and accuracy.
