OverviewWith the increasing demand for sustainable construction materials, researchers are exploring innovative solutions. This book investigates the feasibility of using industrial steel fibers (ISF) and tyre steel fibers (TSF) as partial cement replacements in concrete pavements. The study evaluates Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) and Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete (HFRC) to enhance mechanical properties such as compressive, flexural, and split tensile strength. Experimental results reveal the potential of hybrid fibers in improving concrete performance, especially at 2% replacement.
