OverviewThe main topics of this symposium included the physics of weakly-bound neutron-rich nuclei, giant resonances, cluster structures, high-spin states, nuclear matter, and fundamental interactions, as well as new experimental techniques. These are mostly accessible for investigation as radioactive nuclear beams which enter into reactions. Recent activities of the large nuclear laboratories, GSI, GANIL, RIKEN and NSCL, are also covered. The recently published Long-Range Plan of the European nuclear physics community was also discussed and the article is included in this volume. Full Product DetailsAuthor: Z. Gacsi , Zs.
