Author Information
Jeff Vogel, president and founder of CFG, found his calling to become a financial advisor in 1986. He was 29 and working in advertising. It was a good job, but Jeff never truly felt attached to his work, feeling it lacked purpose. Some of Jeff's clients at the advertising agency were financial advisors, and Jeff became deeply invested in understanding their approach to helping others. Once one of those advisors asked him to join his practice, Jeff never looked back. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Fort Hays State University. He is an Investment Advisor Representative, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP). Jeff is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the Society of Financial Services Professionals (FSP). Jon Vogel, an Investment Advisor Representative of CFG Trusted Advisors, Inc. and insurance professional of CFG Inc., joined his dad at CFG Trusted Advisors after graduation. He previously interned with CFG as a financial technician in college, where he learned many of the foundational principles of wealth creation. Jon is dedicated to applying his knowledge of economics to personal wealth management and making a lasting impact in the lives of his clients.
