OverviewThe city walls of Canterbury are some of the most interesting, and in places best-preserved structures of their kind in southern England. Since the destruction that took place as a result of WW2, a great deal of new information has been obtained, including the discovery that the medieval city wall was on the same line as the Roman wall.
