Carolyn was born in a small town in Alabama and grew up in a religious family. As a little girl, she regularly attended church with her grandmother and mother. She was very attentive to what was being taught. The more she learned, the more she wanted to learn. As an adult, she fed her hunger to know more by receiving her Bachelor's degree in business management and worked as a town clerk in her home town. However, God had a greater calling on Carolyn's life in ministry. Serving as co-pastor with her late husband, she was called upon to teach Bible study as well as occasionally bringing Sunday morning sermons. To do this effectively required much studying, so she pursued and received her Master's degree in Biblical Studies. Second Timothy 2:15 (KJV) tells us to study to show ourselves approved. Carolyn's burden is to teach the Word of God in an understandable way and expose Satan for who he is. Satan is very cunning and deceptive and would have people think he is an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14, KJV). Therefore, we are instructed in Ephesians 6 to put on the whole armor of God to be able to stand against his devices. Carolyn was married to the late James Mitchell and has three sons, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her heart's desire is to please God, show love to everyone, and help people understand that Satan is just as real as God, but God is greater. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4, KJV)
