Overview

This resource Evil Lurking: From Electric Chair to Kingdom Grace invites you to ask the questions 'what would I do if. . .' and 'if this happened to me, what am i going to do about it?' Do I want my offender dead? The plot was inspired - in part - by victims of childhood sexual abuse stories I heard while facilitating sexual abuse recovery groups. All the characters are fictional, as is the story line. The locations were picked by chance. Readers believe this book to be an important resource. This resource is one of the text books in the Christian Ethics online course by the same name. Pastor Carli, one of the main characters, tells her story of overcoming and presents helpful discussion topics. Will the story characters find their way to God? Do you wonder if they want to forgive abusers? Do they want their abusers dead? The course, in addition to this text book, offers a workbook, and we will looks at questions about evil, and how to protect our churches from predators. This book involves real life scenarios of preaching in chapel services at a downtown mission. It portrays lives unable to hold their liquor, and life on the street where it not a rare occurrence that a man has more than one woman who will meet his sexual desires. Yes, there is foul language, because that is the way it is on the street.
