Linda Bethea was born into a large family and lives with her husband in Greenwood, Louisiana. She only began writing after retiring from a thirty-year nursing career. She observes and writes of the outrageous things we all experience, but sometimes forget to savor. Kathleen Holdaway Swain, her mother, is the focus of this book. Her endless stories, collaboration, and illustrations bring this story to life.
