But in Every Day Holy, author Meredith Barnes, invites us to consider time as something much more: a gift from God. With a voice that is refreshing in its open and honest vulnerability, Meredith's devotions encourage us to both reexamine our relationship with time and deepen our connection with the One who created it. A must-read for all who believe there isn't enough time!"" --Tama Fortner, ECPA award-winning and bestselling author of more than fifty books ""With honest authenticity, Meredith Barnes offers new looks at old concepts of time. In Every Day Holy, Barnes guides readers into the present, to see God in the simple beauty of a single moment. With her sage, 'been there, done that' stories from her own life, one can't help but embrace new and unhurried ways forward in the ordinary everyday."" --Cara Meredith, author of The Color of Life and Church Camp (forthcoming) ""Where do the years go? When will this end? Our perceptions, attitudes, and feelings about time vary widely, sometimes from one moment to the next. But our stewardship of time is what should most direct how we spend these minutes, days, and years because time is a gift--not a vessel to be filled but a holy journey we walk with others and with God. In her usual warm and relatable way, Meredith Barnes invites us to contemplate time in the context of Scripture, and, afterwards, to hold it more reverently and more joyfully as the beautiful--and eternal--gift it is."" --Amanda Cleary Eastep, author, Tree Street Kids series" """So often we view time as the enemy.
