The second volume of Everett's Ultimate Commentary covers Genesis chapters 12-26. It follows the life of Abraham and uses historical, archaeological, and linguistic evidence to support the truth of the Biblical account. This commentary translates and explains the original Hebrew, providing unique insights into the meaning of the text which can be obscured by flowery translations. In addition, the cultural surroundings of Abraham are examined to provide greater context to Abraham's dealings with those around him. All of your questions about these chapters of the Bible will be answered (along with some questions you never knew you had)! This book is good for individual reading and for group study. It is strongly recommended that you read Volume 1 first. It contains much information that serves as a foundation for some of the words and topics that appear in Volume 2.
