I was raised in Pittsburgh, PA where after attending a two year art school, I was awarded a scholarship with Point Park College for my accomplishments as a theatrical set designer. Funny thing is that I majored in acting (lot more fun) while fulfilling my required duties in the set design department. I moved to New York City and pursued a life in the theater. Highlights include five years as designer for the Folksbienne Theater Company, New York's only Yiddish speaking theater. They called me the Goy wonder. I soon found myself working in television production when I got work on the original Pee Wee's Playhouse. I continued in this field working as designer and scenic artist and built up quite an impressive resume. One project I'm particularly proud of was a music video for The Rolling Stones. In 2005, I ventured into the event industry by being employed by Preston Bailey, world renowned event guru, where I stayed for five years. I also ran a Saturday late night club in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for a few years at this time. Due to the economic downturn, I took a job at White Lotus Productions as Design Director in San Diego next. Finding the job was more sales than design, I started my own business, Brooklyn Art Dept. as a freelance sketch artist. Slowly I'm building my client list. They include Hello Las Vegas, an event production company in (you guessed it) Las Vegas, 360 Destination Group, Professional Event Solutions, Pacific Events and Harris Goldman Events.
